Chart Game: Guess the Next Candles

Study the candlestick chart, make your call, and watch the next 10 candles play out. Go long if you think price rises, short if you think it falls, or skip when the chart looks unclear.

How the chart game works

Each game gives you a fresh mystery chart and 10 rounds. In every round you see the candles so far and decide what to do with your whole $10,000 play balance. A long trade profits if the next 10 candles close higher, a short trade profits if they close lower, and a skip keeps your balance unchanged. The dashed yellow line marks where you made the call.

The goal is not to be right every time. Real traders win by taking the setups they understand, sizing sensibly and skipping the rest. That is why the Skip button matters: a skipped round costs nothing, while a forced trade on a messy chart often does.

What to look for on the chart

Chart game vs the up/down game

The up/down prediction game asks about a single tick. The chart game asks about the next 10 candles and lets you stay out, which is closer to how swing traders think. Once you are comfortable reading charts, manage a whole portfolio in the stock market simulator.

Play money only. Charts are real daily candles of US stocks from Bybit xStocks, and the stock and dates are revealed at the end. Nothing here is financial advice.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are these real stock charts?

Yes. Each chart is 165 real daily candles of one of ten large US stocks (Bybit xStocks, tokens that track US shares, July 2025 to September 2026). The stock and the dates stay hidden until the game ends, so you cannot look up the answer. The skills you practice, reading trend and candle size, apply to any real chart.

How is profit calculated?

Your whole balance goes into each trade. The result is the percentage move of the closing price over the next 10 candles, positive for a correct long or short and negative for a wrong one. Each trade also pays a 0.1% fee when it opens and when it closes. A skip leaves your balance unchanged.

What is a good score?

Finishing above the $10,000 starting balance is a solid result. Your best final balance is saved in your browser so you can try to beat it.

Is there a sign-up?

No. The game runs in your browser, is free and does not ask for an account or email.
