The basics

• Every player starts with $10,000 in virtual cash.
• You may buy or sell any of the ten tickers at the current price, any time the market is running.
• The market advances one 'day' every few seconds; prices move on each ticker's volatility and drift.
• There are no commissions or fees — keep the focus on strategy.

How scoring works

Your score is your ROI — return on investment — calculated as (current equity − $10,000) ÷ $10,000 × 100%. Equity is your cash plus the live value of every holding. Click Save my score to lock in your ROI on the leaderboard.

Leaderboard ranking

The leaderboard sorts saved runs from highest ROI to lowest and keeps the top ten. It's stored on your device, so it's perfect for a single classroom or a personal best-streak challenge. Beat your own top score to climb.

Fair-play tips for competitions

• Have every player start at the same time so everyone trades the same market days.
• Set a fixed time limit (e.g. 10 minutes) then compare ROIs.
• Reward the reasoning, not just the result — ask winners to explain their strategy.
